Spiritual Parenting

Our Spiritual Parenting initiative was launched to help parents compassionately and effectively help their adult children walk in faith. By equipping parents to engage their adult children around the dinner table and at sporting events or wherever parents and kids connect, we can help our children and grandchildren turn to or return to the faith and the Church.

Workshops are kept small for a reason.  We know that people learn best when they can be in smaller groups, share their experiences, and learn from other parents.  Parents will feel spiritually renewed and empowered to engage their children and grandchildren.  Topics include:

  • Learn how to use spiritual triage to identify where children are on their spiritual journey’s. In a single family, you may have one child who attends Mass, one child who still believes but no long attends any organized church, and one child who no longer believes in God, at all. Our conversations need to be different with each child based on their current spiritual worldview.
  • Retool our parenting skills to focus on spiritual issues. You raised your children. Now we focus on raising spiritual children which will also make a positive impact on our grandchildren.
  • Gain comfort to remain in conversations, especially the tough ones.
  • Enhance confidence to answer questions.
  • Build courage to witness naturally in ways that fit who you are and where you are at on your spiritual journey. Yes, you can!
  • Leverage on-going resources. We understand that helping our children will be a life-long commitment filled with joys, and even a few sorrows.  No one has to do this alone! We’ll be here for you every step of the way.

Yes, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can make a powerful difference in the lives of our children!
